We are Jack & Mary Talley from Ira, Texas, approximately 8 miles south of Snyder, Texas.  We started raising Boer goats in 1999, with 50% boer nannies... kidded the first year and fell in love with them.  Our place grew in size with no questions about increasing our herd to six fullblood, registered does and 30 percentage does along with our first fullblood registered buck- Shiloh 76- and we have never slowed down from there.  Our current herd consists of 50 fullblood and percentage does, and of course, four registered fullblood bucks.  We are active in ABGA, attending all shows possible, and Jack is an ABGA Certified Judge.  We follow ABGA Boer Goat Breed standards, utilizing proven genetics in our breeding programs.  Our youngest daughter, Amy Talley, has actively become involved with our breeding and show program, from AI'ing to flushes, and show rings to organizing and managing her third Boer goat ABGA sanctioned show.  We have become dependent upon her and consider her a part of JMT Boer Goats.
